Tulum archeological site
’Tulum (Zamá) the walled Mayan city’ ’Southeast of Mexico on the Mayan Riviera, on the coast of the Caribbean Sea, is Tulum. Formerly a walled city of the Mayan culture, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO) and which is currently one of the largest tourist destinations. Tulum has become the most coveted tourist destination in the Mexican Caribbean, the favorite of many celebrities from around the world, and of many travelers who love nature and the sea. Originally called ‘’ Zamá ’’ which means sunrise in the Mayan language, due to the orientation of the city towards the east, in the direction of where the sun rises.

From the city of Cancun, Quintana Roo, drive on federal highway number 307 heading south until you reach the city of Tulum.

Public transport
From Cancun you can take the bus from the ADO terminal, they have departures every hour or you can get on a van that will take you to playa del carmen and in playa del carmen transfer to another van that will take you to tulum.
